* Display Accelerometer event frequency
* Switch between NORMAL, UI, GAME and FASTEST
* Display device and accelerometer type
* Display accelerometer range and resolution
* Check for Screen off/Accelerometer bug
* Collect accelerometer info on website
The information you see is uploaded to a webpage when you exit the app and it was running for at least 5 seconds and the screen off/accelerometer bug was tested. See the results: http://accfreq.cochibo.com
The Screen off/Accelerometer bug is described in Anroid issues 3708 and 11028, see:
This app uses both a partial wakelock and the "re-register accelerometer events" workaround to assure only devices that really will not deliver accelerometer events when the screen is turned off register as having the bug.
For more on this issue, see:
If you have the bug and want to get rid of it, you can try installing a mod, like CyanogenMod. This works on many phones, but not all phones.
Mark Pfluger part of our zteTools and have average installs from 10000 to 50000. Update for ZTE phones Nov. 13, 2013. ZTE rating is 84.4444. Verison is 2.2. Actual size 580.0 KB.
A very useful utility for benchmarking hardware This is a very useful utility for benchmarking accelerometer frequency, which is good for applications where latency is a concern. One such application is VR where good tracking relies upon many acceleration samples. Having tested my two devices, I have gotten 200Hz sampling rate on my Nexus 7 2012, and 200Hz on my Nexus 10 as well. Please download this app and share your scores! It would be greatly appreciated.
Not an actual accelerometer It only tells me my configuration. Still, I was able to determine that I didn't have a bug. And no special permissions issues.
As described. Iocean x7a rooted Hardware information only.
Simple - Works Well If you want to watch what your accelerometer is doing, this is the app.
Useful Shows your accelerometer's limit and model. Useful.
Simple Can You add more? Could you add standard deviation please. Also I'd like to see the data uploaded to a webpage so that we can see the results for all phones tested.
Lovely Shows build number, accelerometer frequency and bugs.
HTC EVO 4g Has bug what do I do
Good app to know abt your accelometer sensor Easy to know which type sensor used from which manufacturer... Great app...thanks
