ZTE Blade - Nubia My Network versionVaries with device APK Download

My Network

My Network is a clever new mobile app/service for O2 customers. It allows you understand what network coverage you have, any potential service outages, report issues and carry out speed tests. The speed test screen runs three tests (http download, http upload, ping). When completed it will upload the results to the server and finally display the results with a textual description of what the connection is good for, example email, downloading or video streaming.

Historical results can also be viewed. You must have either 4G, 3G or a WiFi connection to use the app, as the content is served from the web and not stored locally on the phone.

O2 UK part of our zteCommunication and have average installs from 100000 to 500000. Update for ZTE phones July 6, 2016. ZTE rating is 73.8281. Verison is Varies with device. Actual size 0 bytes.

Doesn't work Installed this app on the experia tablet. it has 4 buttons. The speed test only works on wifi, and then never completes. The fault reporting button only let's you report canned faults, not enter your own text. The coverage map just crashes within android stopped' dialogue. The last button is a feeble help page. So all things considered it is a waste of space.

No point in having this application Very poor when it come to feed back. Even when the results of the test clearly define poor if not terrible upload, download and response times. The feedback comes back as nothing wrong found. Well evidently there is. I have also had fellow O2 users have the same problem at the same time so it rules out my hand set before I get another idle reply to this rating.

  • Feb. 28, 2015

Rubbish Absolutely rubbish.

  • March 3, 2015

Tony CCCC Would be nice if the speed test did not use your data allowance, it should be free. One speed test cost me almost 100Mb of data! Be warned.

  • March 16, 2015

Will use your data This app has used 200mb in 3 days

  • March 25, 2015

Super app Great help to me

  • Feb. 26, 2015

Unreliable The network speed test will hardly ever run

  • April 17, 2015

Inaccurate The WiFi speeds are completely wrong

  • April 30, 2015

Map of network coverage... ... Not very easy to navigate. Would be better if you could zoom out for a nationwide coverage view. Also does not search for current location. Searching for specific locations does not work.

  • Jan. 19, 2015

Very poor Was not showing correct wifi speed. Showing 16 m and others showing 53 m. When its a 50 m service through virgin.

  • Dec. 29, 2014

Discrepancy with Download Speed Test I did a speed test with the download results showing 28.7mbs i then did one using Ookla the results for download speed showing 68.2mbs. I'm not impressed with this app, it needs work.

  • Dec. 15, 2014

Pathetic o2 What a mistake I made renewing with o2 there network coverage is beyond shocking and this useless app just adds to the frustration all replys say we looked into it and can't find a problem. Pointless having a fancy phone on o2 as you'll never be able to use its technology hate hate hate o2 time to ditch they can shove there contract.

  • Dec. 17, 2014

Really inaccurate 3g score is accurate but wifi test wow its never been so wrong This is on virgin 152meg broadband O2 test DL : 12 UL : 3 Ping : 368ms Ookla speedtest DL : 145 UL : 17 Ping : 8ms That isn't even a funny difference considering the test was done in the exact same spot in the exact same room one minute after the other

  • Jan. 20, 2015

No Data For Over A MONTH on O2 O2's local mast has been down for a month now so I can't use this app and am stuck paying for a service I can't receive.

  • Jan. 13, 2015

Needs to improve Its good app to report but has some bugs.

  • Jan. 5, 2015

Confirmation. Well done. Confirms what I already know.

  • Jan. 11, 2015

It says there's no 4g where I I'm but yet I am using 4g

  • Feb. 17, 2015

Eh 1.5 mbs on this however 74 mb on ookla. I have 75 mb fibre. O2 get your I.T people sorted.

  • Jan. 27, 2015

Gertjosaphine Its never in range

  • March 25, 2015

Very bad

  • Dec. 30, 2014

Stay WELL away!!! It gobbles data! To say this is an O2 app, and the O2 people know nothing about their own app says it all. I don't use a lot of data per say, but was astounded to find out that the speed test takes up 50 Mb of data!!!! Well that was 10% of my usual monthly allowance. I contacted O2 who were NO help, and un-sympathetic saying I should not need to use it as 4G is fast!.... Erm.. well 50 Mb is 50 Mb whether its slow, fast or none existent!... So, before you consider installing this, make sure you have PLENTY of data... better still, if you have no problems while watching you-tube, then don't install it at all... p.s. I cant give no stars at all... :(

  • March 3, 2014

Good app: poorly executed It's a great app, however, the fact that to report crappy Internet areas you need a good high strength 3g signal to send the report is stupid. Meaning it's impossible to report on low signal areas because we you try to send the report that area the app refuses to work until you have a stronger signal which defeats the purpose. Should provide save it later option or Mark it on the map option for those situations so that they can be uploaded lateral investigated.

  • March 28, 2014

Warning - eats your data. The blurb about this app and on O2's web site says nothing about using this app ONLY if you're having connection problems. It also uses about 50MB of your data allowance each time you use it. I have comained to O2 but they're not interested and do t even reply to your complaints. I also think Google should do something about this and tighten up in requirements for apps that don't specify their usage criteria. Very bad...

  • April 5, 2014

What a pile! Totally useless app, gives incorrect bandwidth speeds. Miles out for example a typical 20meg wifi connection would normally read somewhere between 12meg and 18meg depending on your location however, this app will give you a trading of about 2 to 3meg. As for its 3g reading! Don't bother.

  • Feb. 14, 2014

Inaccurate speed readings. Says on wifi I ha e 7 Mbps yet on all other speed tests they show I have my true speed of 60+.

  • Sept. 19, 2013

Destroys EE's version Very helpful and intuitive! Worthwhile for easy checking bills

  • Nov. 3, 2013

You need a data connection The app said it. Crap o2 network, only get 2g so doesn't work

  • Aug. 13, 2014

Usefull for reporting 3G issues I reported a problem with 3G connectivity where I lived and a a few days later I got a phone call from o2 explaining the issues I'd seen and what work they have lined up to fix it.

  • May 1, 2014

My network wifi finder Its something to look at the map finder is very accurate

  • Dec. 30, 2013

Great, but. . . Works perfectly fine, and speed test works perfectly OK on cellular network. To all those numpties moaning that the speed test only works on WiFi - you need to DISABLE WiFi before opening speed test.

  • June 4, 2015

Speed test does not work on my device The speed test function does not function at all, the on screen button does nothing. Xperia Z3

  • June 22, 2015

Data monster Just got new phone/contract with 4G. Did a couple of tests to check my speed, only to find out that it used almost 100mb of my 500mb allowance. Twenty percent gone after two days of having it! . Needs a warning to say it will use a lot of data when doing speed test.

  • June 26, 2015

So Long As The Signal Cets better Hope this app makes a difference from now on

  • June 16, 2015

O2's My Network App Useful for finding out whether or not you're going to have a signal when you get to your destination & for checking your mobile broadband up and download speed, you can also view locations of O2 WiFi Hotspots which is also useful. All in all a useful app for O2 customers both pay & go and pay monthly

  • June 12, 2015

sony boy What a bunch of moaning Minnie. Been using this app on three different devices, no problems at all. Twist on 21.

  • May 25, 2015

Unable to add location Trying to send a report but it won't let me add a location. Box is unresponsive! Unable to use it for the reason I wanted to!

  • June 22, 2015

As described ? Works perfectly, exactly as described, ignore the naysayers. ?

  • June 4, 2015

Took 12 minutes to install from 4G Terrible service from O2 continuley telling them of a poor service. Business contract is up for renewal in February 2016. EE have supplied temporary handsets for my business to help with no 3g or 4g from O2.

  • Jan. 8, 2016

Everyone posting about this app Great advice about the app using loads of data when wifi is switched off, very helpful. Can people who rate this app with like 2 stars or below please type just a few words to explain why so we can see the reasons why you've rated so poorly? If its 'absolutely rubbish' then whats the issues?? It would definitely help. Its a good app and I've had no issues with it so far. Does what it says it will do.

  • Aug. 16, 2015

Speed test I'm not sure if app is giving me correct info on speed test, as it shows that my mobile internet is lots faster than my home broadband. Plus doing same test on speed test app, it shows different results. Will rate higher if I'm sure I'm getting the correct speed info when testing my speeds.

  • Jan. 22, 2016

Utter rubbish. Map says excellent coverage indoor and out. Actual test result 55k download 40k up. Worst results here. Orange is far far better.

  • Sept. 11, 2015

Network response the same every time Tests wifi which doesn't really impact my network signal. Same response for network problems each time "no obvious issues "

  • Oct. 23, 2015

Can't see the point of this app. I know what the signals like when I can't use my phone. Coverage where I live is quite bad. That's why I have to use tugo when I'm at home. Sort it out o2.

  • Nov. 5, 2015

Working well again This app was unreliable on Lollipop but seems to run fine on Marshmallow (HTC One M8)

  • Jan. 27, 2016

Don't even bother Coverage maps are pointless, they only show what coverage o2 thinks it has, the speed checker uses a lot more data compared to other apps such as rootmetrics and open signal. It also consistantly gives faster readings of speed compared to open signal. The report function is pretty useless. All in all I wouldn't bother

  • March 30, 2016

So Long As The Signal Cets better Hope this app makes a difference from now on

  • July 10, 2015

Not accurate Wi-Fi speeds totally wrong, network map isn't live it's just what 02 thinks it's coverage is, other than that it's ok

  • Aug. 27, 2015

Does What It Says On The Tin... Great app, works well. Very useful when checking problems, coverage and checking to see where the masts are etc. Feedback feature is very usef too.

  • March 24, 2016

App OK but real issue is with no or very poor call signal. Thinking of going bk to Vodafone when top up ends.

  • Jan. 20, 2016

Leaving O2 For years o2 has been good but now keeps getting worse and worse and same with signal as well , kept thinking bout leaving but stayed but now had enough of o2 when contract ends moving to EE , o2 service going down hill has been for a while

  • Jan. 13, 2016

Ok Cannot get speed test to work!

  • Feb. 7, 2016

App seems to work OK, but the fault I'm experiencing was not dealt with. The response I got was 'we can't see an obvious problem'. Not helpful.

  • Jan. 22, 2016

Not acurate at all. Says I'm recieving excellent reception and speed, if that's true why is it taking 2 mins to open simple pages on apps like eBay, Facebook. Even with 4g and all bars.

  • Feb. 18, 2016

Recommend to use Very good thanx for the app o2 and my o2 app is very good too

  • Sept. 11, 2015

Shocking Said i had good signal indoor and out and yet couldnt ring doctors for my little boy as no signal. Thankfully we have good neighbours shocking app an service

  • Nov. 27, 2015

  • Feb. 27, 2016

Very useful Comes in handy when you are out and about avoiding bad reception areas

  • Sept. 30, 2015

It works A tiny bit useless but it does what it says and does it well

  • May 20, 2016

Don't use O2- they're liars and bullys Their customer services are incompetent liars. Given false information 3 times in a row then hounded to pay immediately which wasn't what we agreed

  • July 16, 2016

Samsung galaxy s6 Needs some work speed test never works and app keeps crashing since last update

  • July 17, 2016

My network app on Sony e4 App worked great for a year or so then the speed test crashed.

  • June 27, 2016

Absolutely crap Don't waste your time.

  • Aug. 16, 2015

Downloaded opened it, it crashed and deleted my wallpaper of my phone

  • Sept. 3, 2015

Was ok Used to work perfectly but now just says google play services updating for about 2 weeks now with a black screen

  • Nov. 13, 2015

Poor help O2 team unable to help , in any way

  • June 22, 2016

Does what it says It's a basic app really but if you just want a quick idea of your phone network speeds and basic coverage idea then it does what it needs too. You need too adjust things from drop down menu on certain things too get more from it. Also re location I found it easier typing a postcode rather than just place and then pressing done via my keyboard and it worked perfectly. Let's hope this continues. It isn't a bad app. It's good for what you need.

  • Sept. 4, 2016

An app facilitating network error reporting is prone to customer frustration. Awful app, fails to take network measurements unless it can download a config file which you can't do when the network isn't functioning. The upshot of any deferred reports is always 'no problem here'. Pointless app, makes you more frustrated with O2 than if the app didn't exist.

  • Aug. 18, 2016

What a pointless app As I continually have problems with 02 at my home location I thought i would install this app to help prove that there are continual problems with data dropping from 4G to nothing, phone signal strength going from 4 bars to 0 with the result being that I continually miss calls and lose internet. What is the point of having an app that only allows you to test and report back your data connection when connected to a data signal. How are you supposed to show O2 there is an intermittent problem?

  • Aug. 13, 2016

Great app for telling you abysmal you internet speed is. Does a very good job of telling you. That despite supposedly having a very good 4G signal where I live, the actual GPRS download speed that I get and general information in the website. Is in fact total bull. Worst mobile internet I've ever experienced.

  • Oct. 27, 2016

Don't even bother Coverage maps are pointless, they only show the coverage o2 thinks they has, not the actual coverage . The report function is pretty useless, no one ever contacts you and if you report too many isues you 'reach your quota' and can't log any more . All in all I wouldn't bother, it's a total waste of time

  • Aug. 2, 2016

Waste off time and space Downloaded the network app on request of call center op, surprise surprise it dosnt work, map cant find Bristol (will only locate o2 dome, when you try to drag to your location, it just goes back to original location), tryed speed test, comes back saying i have no data coverage (even thou iv just downloaded the app over data). Another crap product from a company whos service is getting worse by the day. Think its time to move to ee, at least then il be able to use my phone when i want :(

  • Aug. 30, 2016

Does What It Says On The Tin... Great app, works well. Very useful when checking problems, coverage and checking to see where the masts are etc. Feedback feature is very usef too.

  • Sept. 2, 2016

Pass poor If I could give it zero stars I would. Absolutely NO calling or Internet in the north east of Scotland from Tain to John O Groats only got 2G calling in Thurso to be told they were working on masts, funny other networks had use of the same towers. All I got from O2 is we had 2G in Dornoch, NO I BLOODY DID NOT!!!! No refund either.

  • Aug. 27, 2016

Uses Data Allowance. Thought this app was quite useful, until I noticed that it's using more of my data than a lot of other apps. I would and did expect it to not be included in my allowance, similar to My02 works. Uninstalled.

  • Sept. 28, 2016

O2 signal Checks your signal, runs up and down loads checks, saves results to history. Nothing more.

  • Oct. 17, 2016

Reports never get sent The app never sends the reports... Is there a set-up screen I have missed on it somewhere?

  • Oct. 28, 2016

Crap coverage in my area only get 2g

  • Sept. 22, 2016

As described ? Works perfectly, exactly as described, ignore the naysayers. ?

  • Oct. 6, 2016

Good first tried did what needed

  • Oct. 27, 2016
